* activeTab & scripting: Used to detect media elements and provide download buttons on the current page.
* downloads: Used to save the media files directly to your device's default downloads folder.
* storage: Used to save your personal preferences within the extension (e.g., enabling/disabling specific platform support).
## 3. Data Security
Since no data is collected or stored on our servers, there is no risk of your data being compromised from our side. Your downloads are handled by Chrome's native download manager.
